Overview of the Challenges Tab of the Admin Dashboard

The Challenges tab in the Admin Dashboard is an essential reference for managing pending, active, and completed challenges. Admins will use this tab to create new challenges, check analytics, assess penalties, delete, duplicate, edit, and view active, upcoming, and deactivated challenges.

The Challenges tab is where admins can:

Create New Challenges

To create a new challenge in the Challenges tab, click the “Create Challenge” button at the top right corner of the page.

Active Section

In this section, you can monitor the progress and engagement of all current challenges.

Draft Section

In this section, you will find all the challenges that are currently in draft mode. From here, you can edit, publish, or delete them as needed.

Upcoming Section

In this section, you will find a list of all the upcoming challenges. These challenges will be available on the mobile app a week prior to their start date. You can view, edit, or deactivate them as needed.

Past Section

In this section, you can access a comprehensive list of your previous challenges. From here, you can review challenge analytics, view penalties, download .csv files and stylized reports or even duplicate a challenge.

Deactivated Section

In this section, you'll see any challenges you've deactivated. Admins can reactivate a challenge up until the challenge start date. Note: If a challenge is deactivated after it has started, it cannot be reactivated.


Reading the Challenges Tables and Accessing Functionalities

Here's what you need to know as you're reviewing the different sections of the Challenges tab:

  • Challenge Icon: Quickly identify a challenge with its icon. For community challenges: hover over the "community" icon to see which community the challenge belongs to.

  • Title: Challenge name.

  • Teams: For team-based challenges, you'll see the total number of teams. participating. Alternatively, if the competition is based on an individual level, you'll see '0'.

  • Members: The number of members participating in the challenge.

  • Start and End Dates: The dates and times (per your timezone) for the start and finish of the challenge.

  • 🖊️: Edit the challenge

  • 👁️‍🗨️: View challenge details

  • 📊: View real-time analytics of the challenge, such as activity, impact, top users, and top actions. The date range is locked for the duration of the challenge, and only actions that count toward the challenges are tracked.

  • ⛔️: Deactivate the challenge. This will remove the selected challenge(s) from the app and will remove all participants from the challenge. Admins can reactivate a challenge up until the challenge start date. Note: If a challenge is deactivated after it has started, it cannot be reactivated.

  • 🗂️: Email yourself .csv and stylized challenge reports

  • ✈️: Publish a challenge and make it available for members to join

  • 🗑️: Delete the challenge and keep your space clutter-free

  • ➕: Duplicate a challenge and make updates as needed to run it again
