Eeps! Looks like something didn’t go quite right with the invitation link or QR code you used. Don’t worry — this usually has an easy fix. Try the options below to get back on track.
First, check who shared the link
If you received the invite from a colleague, team lead, or organization:
Reach out to them directly to confirm the link or QR code is correct
It’s possible that an outdated or incorrect invitation was shared
This is the fastest fix in most cases.
New to JouleBug? Use an Access Code instead
If this is your first time using JouleBug:
Download the JouleBug app from the App Store or Google Play
Open the app and follow the steps to create your profile
When asked, enter the Access Code that was shared with you
Don’t have an Access Code yet? Contact the person or organization inviting you and ask them to share one.
Once you download the app, open it and accept the Privacy Policy. Then create your participant account. If your organization does not use SSO or domain-based verification, an access code will be requested after you set your password.
Already a JouleBug user?
If you already have the app:
Make sure you’re logged into the correct account
Try opening the invitation link again from your mobile device
If the issue persists, confirm the invite is still active with the person who sent it
Are you an administrator?
If you’re the one sharing the invitation and it’s not working as expected, we’re happy to help.
Email us at support@joulebug.com and include:
The type of invitation you’re sharing
General “join organization” link, or
A link tied to a specific challenge
Where the link or QR code is being shared (email, intranet, slide deck, etc.)
A member of our team will take it from there.
Still stuck?
If none of the options above resolve the issue, reach out to support@joulebug.com and we’ll help you get connected.
