Communities are sub-groups within your organization that connect peers on different levels - department, region, interests, etc. They're another level of connecting, competing, and learning with your peers.

You can join as many communities as you want to double or triple your opportunities to develop mindful habits and win fame and prizes while you're at it.

They look something like this on mobile:

When it comes to communities, you can:

  • Join as many communities as you want

  • Browse all available challenges, community and organization-wide, from the challenges page

  • Participate in multiple challenges simultaneously, community and organization-wide (there are no limits to how much you can win)

  • Engage with different parts and peer groups within your organization in new and fun ways that do good for people and the planet

How do I join a community?

How you'll join a community depends on the visibility settings of the community:

Joining a Public Community

You can join a public community by navigating to you profile, tapping the setting icon in the upper right corner, then clicking “Your Communities.”

The communities screen will show your current organization and a list of suggested public communities (sub-groups) you can join.

Joining a Limited Community

A limited community can only be found when you search for it or if you have a link to join a challenge hosted by the community. It will not appear under “Suggested Communities” on the communities page.

You will need to search for limited communities by name using the search bar at the top of the challenges page.

Joining a Hidden Community

A hidden community can only be found and joined when you receive a direct link to join a challenge hosted by the community. Therefore, it is not searchable and is hidden from the “Suggested Communities” view.
